Dr Anna Semens

Anna Semens is co-director of CIBS (the Centre for the International Business of Sport) and Research Fellow in Sport Business Management at Coventry University. She is recognised as an expert on football transfers and intermediaries, has worked as a practitioner in the sports industry, and continues to consult on the commercial aspects of sport worldwide.

Phil Carling

A highly respected figure in the sports marketing industry, Phil currently runs the international marketing agency Octagon’s Football Consultancy Practice. Previously he was Commercial Director of Arsenal Football Club and The Football Association.

Bryan Robson
Bryan Robson, once an extremely popular captain of the England team, is as legend of British football.  He is best known for playing in the midfield for Manchester United, where he was the longest serving captain in club history. Robson is currently coach of the Thai National Football team. He is also the Global Ambassador for Manchester United Football Club. Apart from his impressive record as a player, Robson has many years of experience as manager of several premier league teams in England.
 
 

Thawatchai Sajakul
Thawatchai Sajakul is one of the most popular figures in Thai football.  He led the Thailand national football team as a manager for 3 years, winning the gold medal for the Thai Dream Team in the Sea Games in Singapore. He is now a politician and the manager of Thailand Premier League side Chula-Sinthana FC. Thawatchai’s education background is in Engineering and Business Management.
 
 

David Persey
Dave has been Head of Adult English Courses at the British council in Bangkok since 2005 and has been working at the British Council since 1999. He has worked in many countries around the world, including Greece, Spain, Venezuela, Ukraine and Thailand and has attended football matches in all of them! A lifelong fan of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Dave is also a keen football player and organises weekly football practice for the teachers at the British Council.
