TEACHER RECRUITMENT

We are recruiting experienced, enthusiastic and qualified EFL teachers to join our expanding network of teaching centres in Bangkok.

Currently we are recruiting for hourly-paid positions. In order to work for the British Council, it is essential that teachers have:

an education to first degree or equivalent from a recognised university.
a recognised ELT qualification to certificate level (CELTA,  Trinity or equivalent). A Diploma level qualification is desirable.
two years' full time post CELTA experience in a comparable teaching context
at least 200 hours post CELTA experience teaching EFL to kids (7-11) and/or Teens (12-16)
competence in using common office programmes e.g. Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook

Other professional qualifications and experience may be seen as valid, for example our Young Learner courses, a Young Learner qualification (CELTYL, DELTYL, PGCE in primary school teaching) is desirable.
