Course Aim

To focus on the strategies and exam techniques required by the IELTS test. Each part of the test will be covered, with a special emphasis on the writing paper, as this is the area where many candidates need more help.

Course Structure

Day 1

Speaking and Listening skills: overview and practice in each phase of the Speaking and Listening sections
Task 2 Writing: Task 2 questions (discursive topics), plus exam practice

Day 2

Reading skills: overview and practice with different question types, skimming and scanning techniques, guessing the meaning of unknown words etc.
Task 1 Writing: overview and strategies for answering Task 1 (describing data)
