Our Exam services
British Council Thailand in Bangkok and Chiang Mai is an authorised examinations centre for a wide range of English and Academic examinations.
We administer all stages of the process on behalf of the UK's major examination's boards, including registration, hosting, forwarding the papers to the UK, advising candidates of results, and presenting certificates.
International English Language Testing System
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is recognised as the preferred language requirement by all UK institutes of further and higher education.

IGCSE
International General Certificate of Secondary Education Exams (IGCSE) are offered by Cambridge International Examinations, University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) and can be taken at the British Council in Thailand.
GCE

General Certificate of Education (GCE) is widely recognised as the British Qualification taken at the upper secondary school level.

EXAMINATION INVIGILATION  SERVICE
British Council Thailand provides invigilation services for students registered with UK schools, colleges and universities, who need to take examinations but are not able to travel to the UK.

TKT

The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is a test from Cambridge ESOL about teaching English to speakers of other languages. It aims to increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners, anywhere in the world.
