We are delighted to announce the 2012 British Council IELTS Scholarship for Thai students planning to study at universities overseas (US, UK, Australia, etc.) at Undergraduate or Postgraduate level. Award winners will each receive THB 100,000 towards their tuition fees. There are 3 awards to be won.
Application registration is open between 28 November 2011 and 31 May 2012 and only short-listed applicants will be invited to a face-to-face interview between 18 and 30 June 2012.
Essential eligibility criteria are that applicants must:
•currently live in Thailand
•begin undergraduate / postgraduate study outside Thailand in 2012 (US, UK, Australia, etc.)
•attend higher education institution that accepts IELTS as part of admission requirements,
•have a valid IELTS score
A valid IELTS score meets all of the followings;
*IELTS test taken at the British Council Thailand
*Academic Module
*With a minimum band score average 6.5 for Undergraduate / 7.0 for Postgraduate
•be able to provide an acceptance letter from the attending institution on interview date.
1.Take an IELTS test at a British Council Thailand centre and receive your scores.
2.Download and complete Application form
3.We must receive your application with IELTS Test Report Form by 31 May 2012.
4.We will notify you by email by 15 June 2012 for the result.
5.Only short-listed applicants will be invited to face-to-face interview held in Bangkok between 18 and 30 June 2012. Failure to attend the interview will result in your immediate removal from the final selection process.
