We aim to:
• enable you to communicate effectively and confidently in English, whatever your level by: - helping you express what you want to say in English - providing opportunities for genuine exchange of ideas in English through working in pairs and groups - relating classroom tasks and activities to real-life contexts - making learning an enjoyable, rewarding and stimulating activity - giving you opportunities to present your ideas and projects in English
• give individual guidance and advice on your learning by: - providing Parents’ Consultations where we talk to you and your parents about your progress and encourage you to talk about your concerns, suggestions and ideas - identifying your strengths and weaknesses by continuously assessing your ability in the four skills - providing regular feedback on your progress and guidance on areas for improvement
• support your language development by: - following specially designed syllabuses which combine communicative learning outcomes with related grammar and vocabulary. - relating what we do in the classroom to real language use
• help you learn better by: - showing you how you can learn more effectively - encouraging you to use the Learning Lounge and British Council online resources for guided learning activities - using learning technologies in our lessons
• meet your needs and interests by: - providing a range of stimulating course materials - adapting classroom tasks, projects and activities to your preferences - providing activities that stimulate interest in the UK and other cultures - encouraging you to give feedback about your lessons.
