TEACHER RECRUITMENT
British Council Chiang Mai

The British Council in Chiang Mai recruits teachers locally . In order to work for the British Council, it is essential that teachers have:

an education to first degree or equivalent from a recognised university.
a recognised ELT qualification to certificate level (CELTA,  Trinity or equivalent). A Diploma level qualification is desirable.
A suitable level of experience
competence in using common office programmes e.g. Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook

For our management training activities, other professional qualifications and experience may be seen as valid. For our Young Learner courses, a Young Learner qualification (CELTYL, DELTYL, PGCE in primary school teaching) is desirable.

Applicants for this post must currently have Thai or British nationality.

We will not consider any applications from teachers who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
