Advanced qualifications in TEFL

Certificate-qualified EFL teachers with some teaching experience behind them can take a further TEFL qualification, most commonly a professional diploma. Diploma courses run part-time over one academic year, or full-time for 8 to 10 weeks. Applicants for these courses usually already possess a TEFL certificate and have at least two years EFL teaching experience.

Diploma courses include the DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults) validated by UCLES and the Trinity College London Licentiate Diploma to TESOL.

We work with International House to deliver a DELTA by distance learning, which is validated by the Cambridge ESOL. Find out more about The Distance DELTA.
