Do you want to find out more about UK and Tanzanian arts and culture? Why not experience it for yourself by attending one of our arts events.

We aim to raise the profile of local visual and musical artists in Tanzania. Use our premises as a venue for artistic interaction and profiling and understamd the artistic world and potential audiences better. In Tanzania we will hold a WAPI ( Words and Pictures) event every month at our premises.

WAPI ( Words and Pictures)
This is a British Council platform that makes it possible for visual and verbal artists in the underground to showcase their art in words and/or pictures. We take the underground to mean the upcoming, the undiscovered, those who by design or default are not part of the mainstream. Our next WAPI event will be held on 22nd December at our premises, the theme this month is WAPI TWENDAKO.

This year's film festival will take place between October and November at the New World Cinema along Bagamoyo Road.

We will use these festivals to create partnerships between networks of Tanzanian and UK artists and run events along side these festivals. We will also showcase UK music and film and support the development of local talent.
