We are the United Kingdom's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. We are represented in 233 towns worldwide
We have been working in Tanzania for over 50 years with partners that share our values and objectives. We promote leadership, provide learning opportunities in English language and networking in management. We offer real and virtual access to the best of UK education, creativity and innovation.
We connect people worldwide with learning opportunities and creative ideas from the UK and build lasting relationships between the UK and other countries
We support leadership for change. We are developing a network of young leaders in the public and private sector in East and Central Africa and the UK. They will gain strength and determination by working together across sectors and across countries. We want to give future leaders and decision-makers a favourable experience of the UK. We seek to nurture a positive bilateral relationship.
We support capacity building through policy reform in the development and governance sectors. We do this by project and training management for clients. We promote education and research opportunities through links between higher education institutions in Tanzania and the UK.
We improve access to education opportunities from the UK. This allows more Tanzanians to study in further and higher education in the UK itself, and to take UK distance learning courses. We encourage Tanzanians to take UK examinations on and off-line.
We promote the wider and more effective learning of English, particularly by young professionals, in our Learning Centre and on off-site courses.
We project the UK's creativity, diversity and recent achievements. We provide a comprehensive real and virtual gateway to global knowledge and learning. We develop professional networks in the UK and the region by encouraging e-communities of shared interests.
