You must complete four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking to obtain an IELTS test report form.
You are tested in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. You have a choice between Academic and General Training in the Reading and Writing modules. The written test time is approximately three hours. The oral test will last approximately 15 minutes. There will be no break time during the test.

The first three modules - Listening, Reading and Writing - must be completed in one day. The Speaking Module will take place on either on the afternoon of the same day, or on another day. Download or read through a copy of the IELTS handbook ( 1.54MB) for more detailed information.
