PAYMENT METHODS:

By cash: to register for the IELTS test, please make your payment at our Taipei office or at any of our Registration Agents. To apply for extra test reports or to purchase IELTS practice materials, please make your payment at our Taipei office.

By transmittance at bank: please write the candidate’s name as the transfer account name. Our bank details are: Citibank Taiwan Ltd (0021-0018). Account Number: 004-733-0009. For the name of the receiving account, please put: 英國文化協會教育文化中心. Please submit the original bank transfer receipt, and make photocopies if necessary. The original bank transfer receipt is required for all post applications. We are unable to accept ATM or internet transfers.

By credit card: You can download the credit card authorized letter from our website. If you register for the IELTS test through our online system and wish to pay by credit card, you must pay online. We only accept Visa, Master, and JCB.

In a convenience store: this payment method is only available for those candidates who register for the IELTS test through the online system. Select “Pay by convenience store” when registering online, and print out the bill. Make your payment at any 7-11, FamilyMart, Hi-Life, or OK convenience store across the country before the deadline.

In the case of overpayment, the excess amount will be returned to the candidate’s account upon request, a and NT$100 service fee will be charged.

Please note the service charges incurred from overseas remittance payments. For example, Bank of Taiwan charges NT$ 200 for each overseas remittance payment. Since we are not held responsible for the service charge, please make sure you indicate the full amount needed to be remitted to us when making your transaction.

CHANGE OR CANCELLATION OF TEST DATE

Once the registration is completed, you will be charged the full fee and will not be able to change the test date unless you provide appropriate medical evidence. Only original medical evidence will be accepted and must state inability to appear for the test on the scheduled test date. Medical evidence must be provided within 5 days of the test date upon which the registration may be changed to the next available test date, or a 20% administrative fee will be deducted from the test fee for any refund. NT$100 will be charged for requesting a refund for an extra test report or postage. When applying for a refund, please return the original receipt or a sales return form is required.

British Council Exams Centre reserves the right to change the test date or refund at its discretion, or to cancel or postpone the test date due to natural disaster, war or other reasons beyond our control.

EXCHANGE IELTS PRACTICE MATERIALS

You may exchange materials within 7 days of delivery (based on the date of post stamp) if the material or the CD has a damaged or defective part. Please inform us by email or any written documents. Please return the materials along with CD and the original receipt to our offices. We will contact you directly once we receive them.

Any materials or CDs which have obvious signs of use are not exchangeable or refundable.
