The British Council in Syria is not currently running an examinations service because of the temporary closure of the office.
Candidates from Syria are advised to contact offices in neighbouring countries Lebanon or Jordan to arrange to take exams there.

Taking an IELTS will help you test your English language skills. It also means you will get an internationally recognised qualification that will help you if you're planning to go abroad to further your education, work, or immigrate.

How can I register for Aleppo session?
*Registration fee is 9500 S.P.
* Candidates can register by downloading the application from the website and completing it with the information and supporting documents required
-Two recent passport -size photographs
-Photocopy of your passport-or your National Identity Card.
-Copies of your previous Test Report Form if you have done the test before.
*Candidate should then send the application along with supporting documents to the following email addresses

*An acknowledgement email will be sent to candidates once the application is received
*Applications will be checked, and then another email will be sent as confirmation of your enrolment with further details concerning payments and venue details.
·How to Pay ?
Once your registration is confirmed, you need to arrange cash payment to the following account in Aleppo:

-Make sure that your full name appears on your payment, and please keep your payment slip as evidence of payment
You must pay for your IELTS test within 5 working days of receipt of your registration confirmation
If payment is not received within 5 days your registration will be cancelled
