Information resources

Our Library and Information Centre has a wide variety of resources. You can find a range of fiction, from classics to modern. We also have materials on business, environment and an unparalleled collection of works on the history and culture of Sudan. Access to 30 magazines and periodicals, and have over 500 videos.

Books

Joining our library will give you access to a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction, which can be borrowed. There are around 4,000 books in our main collection with a particular emphasis on, education and English language learning and teaching, management, finance and business studies, development studies and specific collection on Sudan’s history

Reference Collection:

Our reference colection includes a wide range of encyclopaedias, dictionaries, yearbooks and general reference books on the UK. The library also contains a unique collection of books on archaeology.

Journal Subscriptions

As a member of our library, you will be able to access a range of journal subscriptions. We receive current issues of 30 leading British periodicals and magazines on Literature, General interest, Management, Arts & Design and ELT

Internet access

Discover endless opportunities to access information for your study course, research paper or just for general information. By joining our Library, you get access to educative resources on the internet through one of our public access computers.

Online resources

In the library you can access our range of online resources including databases and websites such as: Emerald, Infotrac, and Ashridge virtual learning centre.

Videos

We have 500 documentaries and home videos which members of the library can borrow. There are a wide range of videos to suit all interests and age groups including feature films and TV series, comedies, sport and music.

How can you use these resources?

To use these resources you need to be a member of our library. Joining is easy, simply download an application form, fill it in and bring it along to our centre, with two passport photographs and the appropriate payment. You can get more information about membership and fees from here.
