In Sri Lanka, the British Council delivers a wide range of UK qualifications, including School and English language exams, academic and professional qualifications; in total around 75,000 exams a year. As a result this post-holder will play a key role to ensure the British Council is more proactive in delivery and maintaining high quality of its services.

Main areas of responsibility will include:

managing the administrative aspects of premises projects |

managing the financial transactions for the projects |

coordinating legal, financial and administrative requirements related to projects (leases, contracts, orders etc) |

assisting unit managers with the installation of the facilities for the new and temporary premises |

Qualifications / experience needed:

This part-time post based in Colombo is available for Sri Lankan citizens on a three-year fixed-term contract from end May 2012 at a minimum starting salary of Rs.27,879/- per month. If more than 10 candidates meet all the essential criteria, the desirable criteria will be used to shortlist.
