Seventy International Climate Champions in Sri Lanka and India with a passion for the environment and interest to work against the effects of climate change are making a difference. Join them and explore the gamut of opportunities to make a difference in the war against Climate Change.
We are now inviting applications from Maldivian youth (link to who can apply page) for the 2010 International Climate Champions programme. Three Maldivian youth will have the opportunity to join the existing champions from Sri Lanka and India and be a part of the growing global network of over 3000 dedicated Climate Champions across 60 countries.

have a climate change project idea that could make a lasting impact on your community, nationally or internationally |
then we want to hear from you!
Your application should reach us on or before Sunday 10 October 2010.
We prefer to receive the online application form. But if you have a problem with your internet connection you could download the application form, fill it up and send by email to bc@dhivehinet.net.mv or thushara.gunasekera@britishcouncil.org on or before the deadline.

The selected Climate Champions will have access - to expertise in the field (India/SL/Maldives/UK) - Seed funding for your projects on a case by case basis - Access to national and international networks - Access to national and international events and programmes of BC and Partners - Access to subject oriented BC publications – mostly online |
