Opportunity to be an Examinations Invigilator

The British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. Our purpose is to create international opportunities for people of the UK and other countries, and to build trust between them worldwide.

The British Council administers a range of UK qualifications including IELTS, English tests (ESOL), Cambridge International Examinations and Edexcel examinations, and a host of professional and university exams.

We are looking for suitable candidates to serve as invigilators at these exams. Applicants from different regions of the country, especially from Kandy, Jaffna, Galle, Matara, Negambo, Gampaha and Batticaloa are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be trained in invigilation and exams supervision by the British Council.
