Please supply your email address on the application form – this way we can send you the confirmation and your exam timetable quickly and efficiently

Pay the fee of Rs. 16,000 in any one of the following ways |

|
|
|
|
Post bank draft or cheque direct to British Council |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Pay by either cash, cheque or credit card at the British
Council |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Make a bank transfer from the bank of your choice |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Go to HSBC and pay direct into the British Council account
for free – locate your nearest branch through
http://www.hsbc.lk
For latter two options, note these details:
Bank name: HSBC
Account name: British Council Sri Lanka
Account number: 001-002377-002
Message: IELTS, Candidate’s full name
(e.g., IELTS, Prabhath Jayasuriya) |

Submit the application |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Send the application form, 2 recent passport-sized photographs, passport copy and bank deposit slip or cheque (if applicable) through the post to the British Council offices.
Alternatively, you can submit the application in person at our offices. For applicants from outside of Sri Lanka, a scanned completed application form can be sent by e-mail initially, but the original application form and additional documents must be sent by post as well to confirm registration. |

For all sessions there is a limited number of places available, so enrolments will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Places will be assigned according to the date of receipt of your application.
Please Note: You must also bring your valid and original passport on the day of the test. We do not accept National Identity Cards. Certified copies of passport will not be accepted.
