INTERNATIONAL GCSE
The most up-to-date international qualification available from the UK. Studying International GCSEs will provide students with an exceptional standard of education which is both modern and relevant. This ensures that students will be able to progress to further education and complete qualifications such as Edexcel GCE A-levels or higher qualifications that are internationally recognized. The new International GCSEs have been developed by taking the best features of the O-level and International GCSEs and adding modern references, assessment structures, and resources – little curriculum content has been changed. Edexcel will continue to mark all International GCSE exams centrally in the UK. This allows us to ensure consistent marking across the 69 countries that International GCSEs are currently taught in. It also means that when a student achieves an A* they can be assured that they have achieved an outstanding result on an international level.

For subjects that have a coursework option, coursework will be moderated in the UK to ensure marking standards are consistent. Edexcel New International GCSE curriculum offers 38 subjects which mean students will have greater choice to study subjects that interest them.

GCE A-LEVEL AND AS-LEVEL
GCE Advanced (A) Level is one of the most recognized qualifications around the world. Edexcel A Levels have been accepted as proof of academic ability for entry to universities and institutes of higher education. They are also important to employers who frequently demand A Levels as a condition of job entry. Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level represents the first half of a full A Level course and gives students the opportunity to study a broader range of subjects without committing to doing a full A Level. The unit system offered by Edexcel makes it the most flexible exam where students may repeat even a single unit to improve the overall grade. Edexcel A and AS Levels offer more than 30 subjects that give students the freedom to select the subjects that are right for them.
