The examinations consist of three levels: Certificate, Diploma and Advance Diploma.
British Council conducts the exam twice a year in June and December. Examination venues are the British Council offices in Colombo and Kandy, for candidates who register via the British Council. .
Registrations for the December 2012 session will be open from 4 to 27 September 2012.

Note: Please visit our Examinations Services counter to get information about the timetable of the subjects you are applying for. Please collect your sample question paper (offered free of charge) from the photocopying counter upon your registration.

If you are unable to sit for the examination due to an illness or an accident, City and Guilds will consider a refund of 50% of the exam fee. You will need to submit proof of your condition along with your request for refund within one calendar month from the day of your exam |

It is not possible to transfer fees from one examination session to another |

Please submit a valid Passport, a National Identity Card or a Postal Identity Card along with your application. You will be required to show the same identification document on the day of your examination |
