This policy applies to all candidates whether individually registered or registered via a school.

Refunds are only allowed for FCE/CAE/CPE/BEC and TKT.
YLE candidates are not eligible for refunds |

If a candidate gives written notice of withdrawal before the closing date published by the British Council, refund will be given less an administrative fee of Rs 2,000/- |
|

|
If a candidate gives a written notice of withdrawal of exam entries on medical grounds during the examination period, the medical must be signed by the medical practitioner along with statement to the effect that the candidate was unable to sit the examination(s). Such refunds need to be approved by the examinations board. Upon the approval, British Council will be issuing the refund less an administrative fee of Rs 3,000/- |
