The BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) is a subject-specific admissions test taken by applicants to certain medicine, veterinary medicine and related courses. The BMAT is owned and administered by Cambridge Assessment, the new identity for UCLES, one of the world’s largest assessment agencies.

Fees can be paid in cash, by credit card, by cheque or bank draft (SL Rupees) drawn in favour of 'British Council'. You can also make a bank transfer to the following account (please bring the receipt) |

Admission cards will be issued to all eligible candidates a week before the first date of the examination. If you do not receive the admission card by then please contact us.

Please submit a valid Passport, a National Identity Card or a Postal Identity Card along with your application. You will be required to show the same identification document on the day of your examination. |
PLEASE NOTE: On no account will a candidate be allowed to sit for the examination without NIC or passport.
