Report on two huge events which took place recently in South Africa and Malaysia called 'Young Ambassadors - Fair Play Today' and 'Young Ambassadors - Inspiring Young People' which embody the spirit and power of what can be achieved through Dreams + Teams.
The biggest current expansion in Dreams + Teams comes from the African continent, with 19 African countries involved. The schools involved in African parnerships attend a workshop at the beginnning of the project which many schools have found extremely beneficial.
Our annual assessment of Dreams + Teams has seen recording breaking amounts of people involved in 2006/07:
5,093 young leaders who engaged a further 179,913 people through 435 events. There have also been 2,451 teachers from 424 schools involved across 45 countries. And incredibly this amazing work has generated 488 newspaper stories, 102 TV broadcasts, 196 radio mentions and 515 web mentions.
