Sport makes a significant contribution to building trust and cultural relations. We use sport as an important tool to build skills and develop confidence, especially for young people.
Through International Inspiration the British Council works in partnership to enrich the lives of millions of children and young people of all abilities in schools and communities across the world by offering them the opportunity to participate in high-quality physical education, sport and play.
Premier Skills is a partnership between the British Council and the Premier League which uses football as a tool to develop the skills of young people. The programme concentrates on grassroots community coaching, linking UK and international community projects and generating English language products for teachers and learners.
