Screen Barcelona takes place all over the city in a number of different spaces, presenting a wide variety of productions and organisations working with the moving image in contemporary art.

This year there will be a strong British presence in two of the main sections, which are dedicated to the theme “What about Production?”, exploring the present and the future of production.

A number of platforms, institutions and collectives, with different ways of understanding, supporting and carrying out production have been invited to present their most recent creations within Screen Festival.

And a 4 day professional forum which gathers key professionals with diverse and complementary experiences in the audiovisual production sector. The purpose is to open a space to examine collectively the concerns and challenges emerging in the field of production of artists’ films and videos with the participation of Phil Collins and James Lingwood (Co-Director de Artangel, Londres) to mention but two.
