The British Council School provides a formative life experience for children between 3 and 18 years old. Our students leave school as bilingual young adults with a solid academic background, strong social values and a keen sense of confidence and self-awareness.
The three phases of school life:
Infant (from 3 to 5 years old)
The British curriculum is taught 80% in English and 20% in Spanish. We adopt a caring and enjoyable teaching approach in the classroom, giving personal attention to each pupil as they learn and grow.
Primary (from 5 to 11 years old)
As students progress through school we teach all subjects from the British curriculum as well as Spanish language and culture (as specified by the legislation covering foreign schools). Our academic programme also includes classes in music, sports, arts and theatre, taking care of all aspects of our student’s interests and talents.
Secondary (from 11 to 18 years old)
Students begin by following the British curriculum, and finish by studying for the Spanish bilingual bachillerato (BIBAC). Our extensive curriculum gives students the best chance of achieving the excellent academic results they’ll need to enter university, as well as preparing them to approach their future personal and professional lives with confidence and optimism.
