Before you register: taking a level test
To make sure your course is at the right level for you, you’ll need to take the level test before registering for a course. The test assesses your spoken and written English and takes an hour at most. You must do the test if:
- you’ve not studied with us before or
- you haven’t done any study with us for at least one year.
You’ll get your result shortly after completing the test; we’ll then show you which courses you can take – you’ll be able to register during the registration period shown below.
If you have passed the FCE, CAE or CPE in the last year, you don't need to take the level test, but please bring your certificate when you register.

How to pay
You can pay for courses
- per term, in advance (Adults)
- in one or two instalments (Young Learners). 250€ deposit payable in June/July.
Contact us for more information. Summer courses must be paid in full at registration.
You can pay by:
- Credit or debit card
- Cheque to British Council
- Standing order
- Bank transfer:
