Learning Support

We support your learning both inside and outside the classroom. We offer

  • an online student network where you can find material to practise language points
  • counselling for all adult students
  • parent-teacher meetings for parents of young learners
  • a library service for all our students.

Counselling

You’ll benefit from one-to-one counselling sessions with your teacher. They’re your chance to discuss your progress and how well the course is meeting your needs.

Parent-teacher meetings for young learners

At the end of each term you will have the opportunity to talk to your child’s teacher and you will receive a report with marks in each area and comments about your child’s progress.

Library

All students have free membership of our library. It offers a wide range of learning resources, as well as the best of modern UK writing and film. They’re all available to take home, and they’re all free to students. All materials have been selected to help students improve their writing, listening and speaking English skills –and to enjoy reading books in English. Resources include:

  • fiction
  • exam practice books
  • grammar and skills books
  • graded readers
  • audiobooks
  • DVDs, CDs and magazines
  • A special section for Young Learners

All study resources are graded by our teachers and are mapped against the courses offered in our teaching centre.
