Before you register: taking a level test

To make sure your course is at the right level for you, you’ll need to take a ‘level test’ before registering for a course. The test assesses your spoken and written English and takes an hour at most. You have to do the test if:

  • you’ve not studied with us before or
  • you haven’t studied with us in the last year.

You’ll get your result shortly after completing the test; we’ll then show you which courses you can take – you’ll be able to book immediately.

If you have passed the FCE, CAE or CPE in the last year, you don't need to take the level test, but please bring your certificate when you register.
