Learning Support

We support your learning both inside and outside the classroom. We offer:

  • individual support for all students
  • a free library service, featuring a wide range of study materials and English fiction
  • online student portal

Counselling

You'll benefit from counselling sessions with your teacher around the middle of each term and again at the end. They're your chance to discuss your progress and how well the course is meeting your needs. We also offer 15 minute counselling sessions where you can practise speaking to improve your fluency, ask the teacher about grammar, or practise the oral paper for a Cambridge exam.

Library

All students have free membership of our library. It offers a wide range of learning resources, as well as the best of modern UK writing and film. They’re all available to take home, and they’re all free to students. All materials have been selected to help students improve their writing, listening and speaking English skills –and to enjoy reading books in English. Resources include:

  • fiction
  • exam practice books
  • grammar and skills books
  • graded readers
