Kosmopolis 13, the Fiesta de la Literatura Amplificada (The Amplified Literature Party). This year, in collaboration with the British Council, it presents a series on British comic where various important people from the world of British comics will take part with conferences and workshops.
David McKean, internationally renowned illustrator, winner of many awards and prolific in many other areas of visual arts. His most awarded graphic novel is Cages. He recently published Celluloide, an erotic graphic novel.
Paul Gravett, considered by The Times as “currently the most important comics and graphic novel historian”, is the founder of Comic, London’s International Comics Festival and author of 1001 Comics to read before you die (Grijalbo, 2012) amongst others.
Karrie Fransman and Paul Rainey will give workshops. Karrie publishes her stories in The Guardian and The Times and is widely known for her first graphic novel The house that Groaned. She gives workshops in the London Print Studio and The House of Illustration.
Paul, winner of the Tartan Bucket award, and author of here`s no Time Like The Present, is currently working on his new online saga Thunder Brother, Soap division.
