The British Council is a proud pioneer of projects promoting diversity. One of the greatest challenges in education systems throughout Europe today is the successful management of diverse student populations to ensure quality education for all.
Inclusion and Diversity in Education a British Council-led project, is addressing this challenge by bringing together pupils, head teachers and policymakers to develop best practice guidelines for managing inclusion and diversity in schools.
The project has provided young people with a unique learning opportunity and chance to participate in the decisions which affect them. Young people, school managers and policy makers have worked together to develop Best Practice Guidelines (PDF 1.2 MB).
