Learning Support
We support your learning both inside and outside the classroom. We offer:
- an online student network where you can find material to practise language points
- counselling for all adult students
- parent-teacher meetings for parents of young learners
- a library service for all our students.
Counselling
You’ll benefit from one-to-one counselling sessions with your teacher. They’re your chance to discuss your progress and how well the course is meeting your needs.
Parent-teacher meetings for young learners
For our young learners’ courses, we organise parent-teacher meetings in February and June for you to find out about your child’s progress and discuss the course with their teacher.
Library
All students have free membership of our library. It offers a wide range of learning resources, as well as the best of modern UK writing and film. They’re all available to take home, and they’re all free to students. All materials have been selected to help students improve their writing, listening and speaking English skills –and to enjoy reading books in English. Resources include:
- fiction
- exam practice books
- grammar and skills books
- graded readers
- audiobooks
- DVDs, CDs and magazines
- A special section for Young Learners
All study resources are graded by our teachers and are mapped against the courses offered in our teaching centre.
We are open Monday to Friday 09.30 to 21.00 and Saturday 10.30 to 14.00.
Online portal
Our online portal offers a wide variety of learning resources as well as the latest teaching centre news. Parents can view their child’s progress reports here too.
