The animals and the children took to the streets

The animals and the children took to the streets

Location:
Madrid
08/05/13 - 12/05/13

1927, an emerging company that is considered one of the most essential in the contemporary European arts scene, invites you on a theatrical journey of surprising originality, and during which you – the audience – won’t even be able to trust in your own shadow.

1927’s The animals and the children took to the streets is a synthesis of live music, interpretations and narratives from impressive films and animations, which they will perform in the Festival de Otoño a Primavera (the Festival of Autumn to Spring). The play tells the perverse and twisted story of Bayou, the most-feared and despised area of an infamous city, in which the curtain-twitchers live side by side… and where the wolf is never far from your door.
