Who we are

We work with both Spanish and British partners to showcase UK education, innovation and creativity. We teach English in 14 centres across Spain to young learners and adults where our quality and reputation is second to none.

British Council School in Madrid has infants, primary and secondary departments and provides a complete bilingual education to over 2,000 students.
We also work with the Spanish Ministry of Education, to provide a bilingual/bicultural curriclum to students in 120 infant, primary and secondary state schools across the country

We are a major channel for the UK's public diplomacy in Spain - putting Spanish people and orgnisations in touch with people and organisations in the UK, with our programmes in science, society, arts and education.
