The Stevenson Scholarships aim to promote friendly relations between students of the Universities of Scotland, France, Germany and Spain. Students who are at present registered in a Spanish university or have recently finished their studies in a Spanish university are eligible to apply.

The British Council is announcing a call for proposals in 2008 under its initiative to assist researchers in making international connections.
Our Researcher Exchange Programme (RXP) is an initiative aimed at supporting new links between postdoctoral researchers in the UK and in other countries. RXP provides individual researchers with awards covering travel and subsistence costs, and some consumables costs, needed to develop new scientific collaborations and contacts through exchange visits of between two week and three months.

The UK 9/11 Scholarship Fund gives awards for study in further or higher education in the UK to children or dependents of victims of the terrorist attacks on the USA on September 11 2001 or other subsequent terrorist tragedy.
