We have over 2,000 books, CDs and cassettes that can be borrowed to help you improve your language learning. In addition, we have many exercises on the computers to recycle and reinforce the different aspects you need to become a fluent user of the language (grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening). All the books have the answers so you can correct yourself.

There is a colour code system in operation to help you choose the most suitable material for your level of English:

Black Beginners
Yellow Elementary
Blue Pre-Intermediate (PET)
Red Intermediate
Green Upper-Intermediate (First Certificate)
White Pre-Advanced and above (Advanced & Proficiency)

Improve your reading and vocabulary
learn new words and recycle grammatical structures with our simplified readers (stories)
do the exercises in a book that corresponds to your level from the vocabulary section
look up a word in the dictionaries
use books with audio cassettes and CDs
use the different multimedia software available on our workstations
visit websites on reading and vocabulary

Improve your speaking and pronunciation
practise with our audiocassettes and CDs for speaking and pronunciation
use the dictionaries to learn phonetics and phonology
use the opportunity to speak English in the library all the time

Improve your listening
practise with the audiocassettes and CDs that correspond to your level
practise with the listening exercises on our workstations
listen to simplified readers (stories) on audiocassette/CD
watch DVDs or videos, with or without subtitles, in the library or at home

Improve your writing
use the books from the writing section to develop your writing of formal/informal letters, narratives, descriptions, articles etc.
read magazines to get a feel of real articles and letters
