We have an active Reading Group which meets once a month (usually the first Tuesday at 20.30) to discuss a book by a contemporary British author. Where possible, these books are by authors who will be visiting. For more information, look in “Literature” in the “Arts and Culture” section at the top of this page.

We have a modest cultural programme within the library which includes: talks, films, poetry evenings, visits to the opening night of British films in English etc.
