YOUNG LEARNER COURSES

OCTOBER 2008 – JUNE 2009

During the academic year we organise English courses for young learners from six to seventeen years old and for young adults from seventeen to twenty-one years old.

In some of our levels you will be able to prepare for Cambridge ESOL exams.  If you are a new student you will have to do a test to find out which level you are in.

Download our brochure for more details.

COURSE INFORMATION

Our annual courses are two and a half hours a week and last from October to June. Most students come to class two days a week but for some levels there are also one-day a week courses on Friday or Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. You will study in a group of eight to fourteen students.  In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary to increase the number of students in a class to fifteen.

As well as our system of continuous assessment, you will have mid-term and end-of term exams and, if you pass the level, you can move up the following year. Parents of young learners receive detailed progress reports twice a year and are invited to information-giving open days and meetings with teachers.
