IELTS - Opening doors, creating opportunities

INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM (IELTS)
Take charge of your future . . .

IELTS assesses English language ability on a nine-band scale. It has been developed to meet the challenges of evolving international labour and academic contexts.
Cambridge ESOL, the British Council and IDP Education: IELTS Australia are the partners endorsing this certificate which reflects the most innovative trends in language assessment.

Where and when to enrol
Prices in Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, Valencia and other locations.
Why do 1,000,000 people take IELTS in 106 countries?

IELTS is a reliable tool to accredit your proficiency level.

SIMPLE FORMAT: You don’t need specific exam preparation. Knowing the exam technique always helps but in this case it is not so important as in other exams.
FAST: It lasts 2 hours 45 minutes and the results are issued within 13 days.
FLEXIBLE: It is held on a monthly basis.
INTERNATIONAL & MULTICULTURAL: As the name clearly shows, IELTS assesses international English. This means it is neither UK nor US-orientated. Furthermore it doesn’t include any item which could be culturally biased. Each new version undergoes a rigorous process of analysis (6-12 months) in different countries, to guarantee its reliability and the test’s international and multicultural vocation

What the Test involves

IELTS has two versions, depending on the needs and language requirements of prospective employers and University entrance. Please choose carefully before enrolling.

ACADEMIC: For academics and people in demanding careers.
GENERAL TRAINING: Aimed at wider social and educational contexts.
IELTS has four modules, as follows:

Listening (30 minutes)
Academic or General Training Reading (60 minutes)
Academic or General Training Writing (60 minutes)
Speaking (10-15 minutes)

Marking and Issue of Results

Your certificate is available 13 days after the test date. The Test Report will show the overall band and a score per module.

Please note IELTS is valid for two years.

RECOGNITION

IELTS is increasingly recognised by educational and public institutions worldwide. More and more multinational companies use IELTS as a personnel selection tool. In Australia and New Zealand it has become a requirement for residence and working purposes. In the UK it is required for careers in medicine, pharmaceuticals etc.
