Young Leader Training Week
21-24 October 2008
INDIE moves into its second year and we are delighted to welcome the next generation of Young Leaders into the project   This batch of 50 young people will take part in 4 days of training in intercultural learning, teamwork and leadership.  This year too a group of their teachers will be joining in too.  We wish them all the very best of luck!

Inclusion & Diversity Festivals
June 2008

To round off the school year all five schools in Madrid will be organising school festivals to promote the Youth Charter.  Whole school communities will be invited to take part in the celebrations, organised by the young leaders with the help of specialists from the Fundación Yehudi Menuhin España.  With music, dance and graffiti workshops & concerts there will be something for everyone

Domestic Violence Round Table Debate

Five Young Leaders have been invited to participate in a round table debate on domestic violence, organised by Las Rozas City Council.  The young people will share their own experiences and opinions and represent those of their colleagues and classmates.See full programme....
Brussels Conference (27-29 Feb 08)
Victor, Asma, Vivian, Ramiro and Ines will be traveling to Brussels to develop the European Charter  for Inclusion and Diversity with their colleagues representing 10 European regions.  Not only will they be meeting up with British dub poet Levi Tafari during their travels but will have the opportunity to put their charter to policy makers and Heads in the heart of Europe.  See programme...
Madrid Cluster Meeting
12, 13 May
Representatives from schools in Spain, Scotland, Portugal and Greece will be meeting in Madrid to finalise the in - school projects they feel will best put the European Youth Charter on Inclusion and Diversity into practise.  IES San Isidro will host the seminars.
