Recruitment is normally carried out in England and Spain during the months of May and June. Suitable candidates are interviewed by a joint British-Spanish Board. We act as a recruitment agent on behalf of the Spanish Government. In October 1999, the responsibility for education in Spain was given to the local education authorities (Comunidades Autónomas) who are now responsible for the contractual conditions of the teachers employed on the project. The overall responsibilities for organising the curriculum remain with the Spanish Ministry of Education.
