• listening, speaking, reading & writing are integrated with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation to help learners develop the skills necessary to communicate effectively.
• lessons facilitate the development of learner independence and self-reliance
• a variety of media and technologies are exploited (visual, audio, computer-based and traditional) to make lessons motivating & interesting
• parents are encouraged to be involved and are partners in the learning process
