Events promoting Comenius and other Education and Training Group programmes may also be held in England and Wales by the Regional Professional Development Network which is funded by the British Council to promote the international dimension in education. You should contact your nearest representative to find out more about these events.

If you're looking for a way to find other partner schools in order to set up a Comenius 1 project, we can offer you funding to go on a contact seminar to meet teachers from other European countries. Most seminars have a theme and are aimed at particular sectors within school education. One seminar participant per school, unless setting up multiple projects.

Contact seminars for those working in adult education are organised regularly by the British Council and other Socrates National Agencies across Europe. These events bring together organisations interested in working together on joint projects. They provide the opportunity for practitioners in adult education to meet one another and firm up project ideas around specific themes such as citizenship, basic skills or social inclusion.
