Projects will be referred to as either multilateral (three or more linked schools in different eligible countries) or bilateral (two linked schools in different eligible countries) partnerships.
Schools will have the flexibility to incorporate development, language elements and/or curricular activities involving pupils into their bilateral or multilateral projects. For 2007, only bilateral projects will be eligible to include a class exchange (as per the former Language Project requirements). However it is possible that from 2008 both multilateral and bilateral projects could include class exchanges.
Their size will be determined based on the type of project and the number of mobilities (staff and/or pupils travelling) per project.
Throughout the life of the project (in 2007, the life of the project will be either one or two years), projects will need to include a minimum number of staff and/or pupil mobilities.
Please note: The minimum number of mobilities (dependent on project type) has not yet been confirmed by the Commission. Further information on this will be posted on this website.
