Here is a summary of the key changes for Comenius School Partnerships:

  • All partners will need to submit their application forms to their National Agency by the project application deadline for assessment.
  • The final deadline for submission of project applications to National Agencies by partner schools is 30 March 2007.
  • The start date for successful projects is October 2007.
  • New project applications, whether multilateral or bilateral (with exchange) will apply for a 2-year partnership agreement
  • Current Year 1 projects should apply to renew for 2 years to complete their projects
  • Current Year 2 projects should apply to renew for 1 year to complete projects
  • New project applications, whether multilateral or bilateral (with exchange) will apply for a 2-year partnership agreement
  • It is not possible for new schools to join existing partnerships in 2007
  • Priority will be given to renewal applications in 2007
  • From 2008, there will be no renewal applications
  • Lump sum funding will be awarded to approved projects from 2007
  • Projects should address national and European priorities
