Youth exchanges

Young people talkingYouth exchanges bring together young people from two or more countries to meet and discuss topics that are close to their hearts. Each exchange focuses on a theme and relates closely to the daily experiences of both groups of young people

Examples of themes include racism, young people’s role in society, xenophobia, local heritage, sport and healthy lifestyles or the environment. 

 

Who?

Groups of young people aged between 13 and 25 are eligible to apply. (Up to 20 per cent can be between 26 and 30.)

At least two countries should be involved.

The project must involve a minimum of 16 young people.

How long?

The exchange must be between six and 21 days.

How?

Activities should use a variety of non-formal methods to achieve planned learning outcomes 

Don’t apply if...

... your project aims to make a profit

... your project can be classed as a study trip, holiday, festival, language course, political gathering, sports competition, performance tour or similar.
