Youth democracy projects
Youth democracy projects:
- give young people ‘a voice’
- encourage them to get more involved with democratic process
- help organisations to extend their networks
- provide young people with a role in their society and within Europe.
| Why |
To encourage young people to get involved at a local and international level. To explore with young people how democracies work. To include disadvantaged young people who may not be part of an organisation. |
| Who |
Organisations and young people between 13 and 30 can apply directly. Individuals have to be legal UK residents. Four groups of no more than 16 people are needed – two national and two from another programme country. The groups can’t be linked in any way. |
