Youth democracy projects

Youth democracy projects:

  • give young people ‘a voice’
  • encourage them to get more involved with democratic process
  • help organisations to extend their networks
  • provide young people with a role in their society and within Europe.

Why

To encourage young people to get involved at a local and international level.

To explore with young people how democracies work.

To include disadvantaged young people who may not be part of an organisation.

Who

Organisations and young people between 13 and 30 can apply directly. Individuals have to be legal UK residents.

Four groups of no more than 16 people are needed – two national and two from another programme country. The groups can’t be linked in any way.
