General questions

I would like to visit another country by myself. Will Youth in Action fund my trip?

Sorry, no. Youth in Action has funds to help with youth group exchanges, not individuals. If you are interested in a long-term volunteer work, please take a look at the Action 2 - European Voluntary Service.

Can the British Council get me a job in the UK?

Unfortunately, Youth in Action does not help people to get work visas or work placements for the UK.

Does the British Council / Youth in Action provide scholarships or grants to foreign students who want to study in the UK?

No. Contact your own State Education Committee of the British Council office in your country for more information.

Where can I get an application form from?

All application forms and guidelines, along with the Youth in Action programme guide, can be found in the Links and downloads section.
