The application form
Before you apply, find out what form to use, which supporting documents to include and what financial and legal information you need.
Use the right form
For the following Actions use the E-form (PDF 1MB) to apply:
- Action 1 - Youth for Europe
- Action 3.1 - Co-operation with EU neighbours
- Action 4.3 - Training and networking
- Action 5.1 - Young people and decision-makers
Email your form to eform.yia@britishcouncil.org.
Remember to:
- include a hard copy with a submission ID
- submit your application before the deadline
- include original signatures
- attach a project timetable as a separate document hit the Send’ button on the E-form when you’ve completed it.
For the following Action use these Word documents
- Action 2 - European Volunteer Service (EVS) Application form (Word 310KB)
- Action 2 - EVS Expression of Interest EI form (Word 221KB)
Send your completed EI form as an attachment to YiA.EI@britishcouncil.org. Please put your organisation name and county where you are based in the email’s subject line.
Sending in your application
For all Actions you need to send in hard copies, which must be post-dated no later than the deadline date. Sending your print-out recorded delivery so that you have proof of postage; evidence that you have met the deadline. Include the project reference on your envelope for good measure (e.g. GB-XX-XX-2012-RX).
Supporting documents
If you forget to include any of the supporting documents the British Council will get in touch. After that you will have just two weeks to send them in. Miss that deadline and your application will unfortunately be rejected.
